Levels of Goals/Plans and Their Importance

GOALS: Goals should be specific, measurable, realistically challenging, and linked to awards. They should also have a defined time period and cover key result areas.

  • Operational Goals - Specific, measurable, results expected from departments, work groups, and individuals
PLANS:
  • Strategic Plans - Action steps, a blueprint that defines the organizational activities and resource allocations
